Came across this name in Family Tree...Need correct spelling

    “Amtmann” is German for officer/official, thus the spelling is most likely correct. A Czech variant could be “Amtman”.
    “Habertitzel” is a strange name, it sounds German, but it is common only in the CR.

    The most common spelling is “Habertizel”, but on the other hand “Habertitzel” is well known family of porcelain manufacturers.

    This name originated in Nikolaus (= German for Nicholas) and it is extremely variable. An exhaustive treatise about all the variants is here, unfortunately only in German. The related part is:

    A similar name with different origin could be “Grasslin” (from German/English “grass”).
