Are you sure about translating of "srdcař" as "heartful"? Srdcař literally means "one who puts all his heart into something" (gives his all to something he does, for a soccer player it would mean he always plays a match with a maximum effort, never slacks off and uses all his physical and psychical abilities for the good of the team). By the way, how comes the word "heartful" is not even in the http://www.dictionary.com nor dictionary.cambridge.org?

And I'm just curious, how did you translate "hecíř" into English? The word is based on verb "hecovat", meaning to stimulate/motivate/provoke someone into doing something, in this context to motivate other players from the team to give their best in the match.

    Ahoj Petr !

    >Are you sure about translating of "srdcar as "heartful" ?

No, I am not sure. It is just my guess.

I looked it up in the web dictionary (http://www.slovnik.cz/ ). But I could not find the meaning but instead I found the word "srdce". I guessed it was not so far from the meaning of "srdcar".

Moc vam dekuji z your explanation. Now I have really got it !

    > And I'm just curious, how did you translate "hecíř" into English?

A Czech person told me about it.

    >The word is based on verb "hecovat"

    "hecíř" - from "hecovat"
    in this case
    "povzbuzovat k lepším výkonům"
    encourage to higher effort

    but also "joke"

    "srdcař"
    from
    "dává do toho srdce"
"giving his heart into what he is doing"
meaning he does it with full effort

The quotation is probably from sport, describing a member of the team, one who brings good spirit into the team and who is a driving force of the team. (my guess 8) )
