    Hi there,
I am planning a trip to prague in november and would like to take the train to Bratislava.
Where can I get tickets {in the UK preferably}?
How much will it cost for 2 people?

    Thanks

In Prague, I guess. Czech railways do not sell online.
The cost should be several hundreds CZK. 500? 700? Hard to guess... You should get a group discount, as there are two of you.

    See www.vlak.cz for schedules...

www.idos.cz - works every time. all bus/train schedules in the CZ. I was on there the other day looking for some trains/buses(eg: praha - bratislava / praha-krakow + krakow - bratislava) and it's really usefull. Doesn't give you the price though. But it has the schedules. but they might not have some bus schedules from private run companies like EuroLines(www.eurolines.cz). but yeah, www.idos.cz is the best site to start with, when looking for bus/train schedules. You should try it.

There's a regular express train from Prague to Bucharest with a stop in Bratislava - I think it leaves Prague every day short before midnight but you'd better recheck it.

I'd guess 200-300 for a single ticket for 1 person.
