    Hello All

I apologize if this has already been addressed but does anyone have experience with staying at Apostolic Residence apartments versus staying somewhere like Nosticova ? They equally look nice and in the area we want to be but because we have never been to Prague, what advice would you give with apartments versus hotel stays... is it recommended to make advance reservations or showing up and checking the place out first would be wise?

Any tips would be much appreciated

    Thank you

The disadvantage of apartments is that as a tourist without the knowledge of language you'd be completely without assistance. You'll have to find your way around the neighborhood, locate where the shops are, know what to buy for the housekeeping etc. If you don't want to go through the hassle, a hotel is preferable. In any case, booking ahead is essential especially during the high season.

That really depends on your dates of travel.

Thank you so much for the tips... Dates of travel are March 29th - April 9th 2006....

Are most attractions open at this time especially Cesky Krumlov?

Like most castles in the Czech Republic, the Český Krumlov castle is open from April 1 to October 31 (closed on Mondays) and closed from November 1 to March 31. The opening hours and admission are listed at www.ckrumlov.cz.

Attractions in Prague are generally open all year, possibly with shorter hours in the fall and winter.
