this is kinda a silly question, but I am packing up for our move in September, and I was wondering about the bed situation. Are Czech beds the same size as those in the US? i.e. will my twin-size fitted sheets fit on a single bed? I know its trivial, but I am still wondering! Thanks, Leah
In CR, there is no system of bed sizes similar to US; the most usual size of single bed is 80x180 or 200 cm, but you can also find so-called one-and-half bed (120-140x180-200 cm), double (160-180x200) and many others with slight differences (5 or 10 cm both in width and length). So far, none of bed sheets I brought from US (twin, queen and king size) fitted to any bed I have in my Czech apartment.
