Best way to send money?

Sending money is expensive.
In August I had to send 100€ to a friend in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. I used Western Union online. It cost me 120.50€. In other words, the service costs 20.50%, which is a lot.

 

PayPal accounts are available in Czech republic now!!!

 

I met a Czech woman online nearly 5 years ago. We fell in love and I sent her "many" bouqets of roses, only to find out that she was allergic to them (as well as most nuts). Her mother enjoyed the flowers though! Anyway, she surprised me by how excited she was when I then sent her a gold plated rose via an online flowers supplier. I sent one to her best friend as well and received a similar response!
