Is this right translation of mine? Stát Maine, jehož lesy jsem si na dálku zamiloval. -> Maine state, of which forests I fell for remotely.
A more natural, if more poetic, rendition: State of Maine, whose forests won my heart from afar. If you don't want to use the personal pronoun "whose" you could say the forests of which, but that gets a little wordy for me. Is this the State Song or something?
