CZ-> EN : use of one word in a sentence

    Could someone show me how to use the cz word 'smysl' in a few example sentences ?

    I hear this world like ALL THE TIME and its driving me nuts I tell you, ale bohuzel, I don't know how to use it.

    damnit.. i meant word.. not world.. I fat fingered that one..

    the word of the day is SMYSL

    "smysl" can be quite accurately translated as "sense", in all its meanings and derivatives, such as:

    Nedává (mi) to smysl. = It makes no sense (to me).
    smysl pro humor = sense of humor
    (mimo)smyslové vnímání = (extra)sensory perception
    Dej mně pokoj s tím tvým jahodovým nesmyslem, já si dám normalní pivo. = Give me a break with that strawberry-flavoured nonsense of yours, I'll have a regular beer.

    etc.
