Czech's Participating In the 2004 Olympics

    Ahoj,
    I was wondering if there will be any Czech athletes participating in the Olympic Games in Athens, Greece next month. If so, who are they and what events will they be in? I haven't had much luck in any online searches that I have recentely done. I hope someone will have some input to this topic. :D

    There are now 136 athletes.
    The complete list - in Czech only.

    They take part in many events, from athletics to yachting or weightlifting.

    Some famous athletes are:
    Jan Zelezny (javelin) - 3 times Olympic champion.
    Tomas Dvorak, Roman Sebrle - very succesful decathlonists
    Martin Doktor - canoeing, champion of the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta
    Jiri Novak - tennis, several times in ATP top ten.

    My favourite defenceman Karel Pilar has trained with Tomas Dvorak to keep in shape, just a little tidbit :D :D :D
