Do most CR DVD players play all zones?

I want to bring some New Zealand DVD's to show people, but they are all zone 4... do DVD players play all zones...? :?:

 

It depends, some players are region free, some are not. For example my player wasn't region free, but I found on the internet special code how to make it region free. Depends what you wanna do here, if you want to show the movies at your friends' place, just ask them whether they have region free player or not. if you wanna buy dvd player here, you shouldn't have problem finding some region free player.

 

BTW - Many region 4 DVD's in Australia are region 2, too.

Maybe NZ will be similar.
