Hi, im off to prague at new year with a group of friends who are all 19-20! I however will be 17 when we are in prague and was just wondering if i would have any trouble with getting served for alcohol or getting into pubs/clubs??? Thanks
probably no problem. with the subject matter of your post and the style of it though, you'll likely get involved in a nice little flamewar with prague residents and/or expats
nawww... we already had that one bottom line, yes, you can probably do it and no, it is not legal - if you get caught by authorities, your butt will be in a sling (big problems).
"your butt will be in a sling (big problems)" not even close to "big problems", if the police catch you drinking, they'll just tell you to leave the place (I assume your parents aren't coming with you, and the police can't be arsed to call the embassy or something). they may try to give you a fine at the very worst.
well, I hope that's true - would be a reasonable response to someone nearly legal having a drink - just hope the police happen to be in a good mood.
