Any Czech football fans out there? What do you think are your chances of winning the world cup?England's chances have been reduced considerably as Wayne Rooney was injured at the weekend and has a broken bone in his foot
Are Sparta and Slavia still the dominant teams in the Czech league?

Slavia and Sparta are still strong teams in the Gambrinus Liga, but this year Liberec won and Mlada Boleslav finished 2nd - both making the Champions League qualifying.

I obviously support Sigma, and attended the Ostrava-Sigma game last weekend. Unfortunately we lost 4-1. :x

Hi, Although this is changing the subject slightly, I wonder if any Czech football fan can give me any advice on how and where to buy tickets for Czech Republic International football fixtures? I believe that they are always sold out but it is my birthday on October 7th and Czech Republic are at home to tiny San Marino in a Euro 2008 championship qualifying match. I am hoping to travel from Manchester for the game with 5 friends if I can get tickets. Has anyone got any advice on how and where to try and get them from? I am grateful for any help and advice.

    Best wishes and kind regards,

    Mike Cooke

You might be able to find touts <sp> outside of the ground selling tickets. Although, I suspect a game against San Marino might not sellout, but you neverk know.
