    Ahoj all,

Hope all is fine with all of you.

We like to use ginger here in Taiwan. Does Czeck use it in Czeck meals?
Another question here is does any one knows that which country create the ginger bread?
Any comments/informations, will be greatly appreciated.

Hope all of you have a great day and weekend;-)

    Megan :)

Other than "perníky" (soft Czech gingerbread), I've never had any Czech food with ginger in it, although perhaps there are some other Czech sweets which use it.

There are popular Christmas cookies "zázvorky", spiced with ground dry ginger.
Several websites mention the history of gingerbread or sweet pastry using ginger, but I think it is difficult to say in which country was the first gingerbread made.
