How to say I'm sorry...

    Can someone translate the following...

    I'm sorry, I didn't get what you said?
    I'm sorry(as you bump into someone on the tram).
    Excuse me(when interrupting someone)
    I'm truly sorry to inform you that...
    I'm terribly sorry for the inconvenience.
    That's a sorry(pathetic) situation.

    Promiňte, nerozuměl jsem vám. / Promiň, nerozuměl jsem ti.

    Promiňte (, že vás přerušuji).

    I'm truly sorry to inform you that...
    Moc mě mrzí, že vám musím sdělit, že...

    I'm terribly sorry for the inconvenience.
    Velice se omlouvám za způsobené nepříjemnosti (or problémy or nepohodlí - by context)

    That's a sorry(pathetic) situation.
    To je nepříjemná situace. (depends by context)

    There is also another word commonly used in such situation: Pardon

    If you said "Promiňte" or "Omlouvám se" then you expect answer: "Nic se nestalo" or "V pořádku" or (now quite popular among younger people) "V pohodě"/"Pohoda" etc. With word "Pardon", you just say it and continue on your way - by default, no answer is implicitely expected.
