Interesting to see that a convicted criminal is to be sent back to his own country, despite no extradition arrangements, after intervention from the Government. There has also been speculation that as a member of the Qatari royal family - he's a cousin of the Emir - he will be immune from prosecution. I was really interested in this comment: The Justice Ministry argued that the case was complicating bilateral relations. Is there a plan for an oil pipeline from Doha direct to Prague? Or are the rest of you as puzzled what this special relationship consists of? Cant have a few small girls mucking that up can we. Oh and this: A German adviser to the Justice Ministry was quoted as saying the Supreme Court's decision would not have been possible in any other EU country So how does that work?
