Looking for an old recipe that I have always heard referred to as "Shiskas". I am unsure of the spelling but it is a plum wrapped in dough boiled in water. Then sprinkled with a mixture of browned bread crumbs, sugar and cinnamon. I wanted to know the correct spelling and where it originated. My family starting with my grandmother have been making this delicious dessert for years. My grandmother has passed and my mother taught me how to make them. Please help me. Thanks.
