    Hi, I am a new member. :D

Three of us are going to Prague for the first time in May 05 and want all the information we can get about hotels, art galeries and any other must sees for the week we will be there. Will it be cold?

    Hi Bre,

Prague should be lovely and warm in May - shirt & shorts weather like the Californian West Coast.

As for hotels, it depends on your budget. The general quality in Prague is of an exceptionally high standard - but I would advise you to avoid any on Wenseslas Square (overpriced and 'touristy'). I can highly recommend the Cloisters Inn & the Metamorphis (Old Town)...these are the two hotels where I normally try to stay. Both have web sites.

As for museums and galleries, the whole city is a monument to beauty! You will not be disappointed! Just check your guide book for places to visit.

When you arrive, buy the Prague Post - it is a weekly English language paper which has news, plus a supplement featuring music, arts, cinema etc etc. Everything that you need for your stay.

I'm sure that you will enjoy yourselves!
