HEY! Im interested in meeting other Czechs to learn more about my heritage. All my grandparents were born in Czechoslovakia and moved to America when they were young. But they either died before I was born or died before I was able to find out anything about the culture. I have been searching for some kind of connection to anyone in the Czech Republic to exchange information about the life and culture in the country.
Hi: Although I was born in Minneapolis and not abroad, I have spent many years studying Czech culture and customs. My father's family came from Donov, just south of Prague in the 1880s and my mother's family from Slovakia. What part of Bohemia did your family come from? Was this prior to World War I? John
