Be aware of the fact that Czechs use the word "milovat" (to love) less frequently than English speakers. In Czech, "milovat" has a stronger connotation and means to love in a romantic sense, or to love dearly, or it can be used if you want to be really expressive, e.g. "miluju moře" (I love the sea), "miluju Nirvánu" (I love Nirvana - the band). An expression that is often used instead of "milovat" is "mít rád" (to like, to be fond of). E.g. you wouldn't say "miluji tě" to a friend or even to your child. You'd say "mám tě rád(a)". So your sentence can be either "Milujeme Václava" or "Máme rádi Václava". It depends on the meaning you want to give it.
