    Hello All,
I am looking for a good phrase that will remind me to continue traveling and having adventures in life. Are there any Czech phrases that evoke that idea? Or even something as simple as "Live for Life" or "Continue the Adventure" ... something along those lines. If anyone knew of any phrases that would be great, or even a literal translation of the above phrases or anything you would work would be great. If there is even just a simple word that conveys this idea it would be great. The shorter the better, actually.

Also, are there any Czech words that mean something along the lines of "laughter despite great hardship" ? I feel like I remember a word like that from a book by Kundera but I cannot remember. I really appreciate any and all help, thanks in advance.

What about: Žiješ jenom jednou (You live only once).

I think it's something as standard Czech philosophy :)

During World War II, Nazis called Czechs 'the laughing beasts'.
