For the command "turn around," would you say zahni kolem? zahni dozadu? Just for fun, what about "turn around in a circle"?

How about if you said "I stayed for dinner." Zustala jsem za veceri? I hate prepositions! :?

    Turn around = čelem vzad.

Turn around in a circle = otoč se kolem dokola.

I stayed for dinner = zůstala jsem na večeři.

I hate English prepositions too!

    "Turn around = čelem vzad."

More commonly "turn around" would be translated as "otoč se dozadu", "čelem vzad" is usually used in the sense of the military drill command "about face/about turn"
