I am thinking about visiting the Czech Republic this summer with two friends for around 10 days or maybe a little longer. I would welcome some advice on a specific destination but my first thoughts were to come to Prague. Is this a good place to start or maybe even end up?

My friends have told me that the Czech people are very friendly, approachable and have an open mind. This kind of attitude is one of the reasons I would like to visit. This and the beautiful cities that the Czech Republic has to offer.

I would like to chat to interesting people and maybe meet up with them when I come over in August.

Looking forward to chatting with you soon.

Czech people are not always open minded, you have to meet the right ones:)

Prague is a great city to begin with, but you shouldn´t stay in Prague only. Personally, I like Brno better, it´s more friendly...

    Hey Adela,

    Thanks for your reply.

I take it you are one of the more open minded ones:)

How many days would you suggest I stay in Prague to see the main sights?

Why do you say Brno is more friendly? Is it because that's where you are from?

No, definitely not. I do not come from Brno. I went there to study because I had been there before and I liked it so much.

I don´t know how many days you should spend in depends how much you wish to see. As you said "the main sights", then maybe 4 days.

    Thanks Adela.

I think I have to visit Brno and see for myself.

If you don't mind me asking, what are you studying?
