I just got married a year ago and my husband and his family are czech. I don't understand a thing they say. I really want to know where to start so I can start participating in their conversations.
Shoot, Froglover, it's easy to learn Czech really bad -- really bad is the way I speak it! :lol: Unfortunately, it's not easy to move beyond that level, but a good starting point is the Local Lingo site (easily reached from the mini phrasebook section -- look for the nav button on the left of the home page).
