What am I doing here? My father family was Czech and came from the region around Blatna and Kocelovice in the Czech Republic. My mother's family came from the area around Markusovce in Slovokia. My mother and her family never really encouraged us (my older brother, my younger sister, and I) when we asked questions about "the old country". Now that they're gone I am freer to ask the questions and maybe learn something about who we are in the process. Chuck Tintera
