    Hi everyone,

I'm looking for meringue powder and have asked my Czech friends but they've no idea what that is!

Does anyone know where to get them? Do they even sell meringue powder here???

If Tesco or Kaufland don't have it, you could ask a bakery...or You can either order it off the internet...or use a substitute...sometimes gelatin or cream of tatar can be used...what's the recipe for?

Thanks! I'll check it out at both Tesco and Kaufland.

I wanna make royal icing :D Egg whites is not an option. If I can't find them here, I'll probably try to order off the internet.

No wonder, we don’t use this semi-product, we use the basic ingredients – eggs, sugar and so on.

It’s used only in mass production, and even there the more basic semi-products prevail.
What is the problem with the eggs?

I fail to google a Czech shop selling it.

I would prefer confectionary over backery.

I'm making some cupcakes with frosting for a house party. I've a friend who can't take anything with raw egg whites. That's why using raw egg whites for the recipe isn't an option for me. If I can't find the powder, I'll just go for the normal icing with butter and icing sugar.

    Thanks for your input :D

What about dried egg whites? That could be available.

Then don't put egg you your icing, just use powdered sugar, lemon juice and bit of butter. That's all. Don't worry about looking for fake product full of chemicals.
