    I read the following and don't understand what it means. Can somebody please help?

    Je jedno, že...

    But really needs context - could be several things.

    The context is speaking about receiving a letter in the mail.

    Je jedno, jestli 18.6 nebo později, hlavně aby přisel v pořádku.

    To me it sound like "It does not matter", "No preference", "Either way" etc.

    So the sentence means:

    Je jedno, jestli 18.6 nebo později, hlavně aby přisel v pořádku.

    It does not matter if he comes on 18.6. as long as he comes in one piece/he is safe.

    to rsalc1: sorry, I overlooked one part of the sentence. So again, the translation is:

    It does not matter if he comes on 18.6. or later as long as he comes in one piece.
