Need grama and grampa name in Czech

    I'm going to be 1st time grama and want to use my Czech name for grama. I remember Bubby and Yetta (not correct spelling) - Can anyone tell me which is which and the correct spelling please?

    I thought it was bubby and Yetta - that's what my great great grandparents were named, but I don't have the correct spelling

    Perhaps you were just saying it wrong. Sometimes my husband's 4 year old grandson will say "yetta" instead of děda because the d kinda has a y sound after it. You kinda form your lips like you are going to say a b then say the d-yetta, but there is also like a th in there almost. It's really hard to explain and took a lot of practice before I got. I still sometimes say it wrong if I'm in a hurry.
