Hello, I am a export engineering student from Copenhagen, Denmark writing my final project. I have found two suppliers of Internet: a) Karneval - TESprofinet 1000 b) Czech Telecom - IOL Broadband 1024/256 Usually, there is: 1) a monthly fee to use the Internet (flat rate) 2) an initial cost for a modem/splitter 3) an initial cost of installation You could make me the happiest man in Denmark, if you could help me to find those prices!!! Thank you and have a wonderful day, Dirch

Hi Dirch, There are so many ADSL/cable providers competing with one another to get the most out of this fairly new technology in the Czech republic. As to Karneval, I haven`t found any information concerning the installation charge, so it could be free of charge (but only my supposition). The monthly fee is Kc 550/US$ 20. All this at the speed of 0.5 mega. www.tiscali.cz offers 1024/256 for monthly fee of Kc 1 300/US$ 50. The installation charge is Kc 1000. By this offer, however, you are limited to download only up to 3 giga per month without an extra charge. Unlimited access would cost you Kc 2 000. Someone might provide you with more detailed info. In Japan, your monthly charge would be US$ 30 - 60 for 8 - 100 mega. I hope this helps. Karel
Nothing, still working... I just translated what Dirch asked for, but as Karel says, there are many IS providers in Czechia. Volny is one of them.
This is amazing - thank you, Halef and Karem! I will defenitly have a Czech beer tonight! Cheers, Dirch
