In Czech, is there a different word for fame and glory? I heard the word slava, but I'm not sure how one would distinguish between the two.

What I know, Czech "sláva" corresponds to the both "glory" and "fame". Thus for me (I'm a Czech), it's a bit difficult to differ when I should use "fame" and when "glory" :).

Yes, 'sláva' corresponds to both meanings and is mostly used. There are some infrequently used words, e.g. 'věhlas' = 'proslulost' = 'fame' or 'velkolepost' = 'glory'. Also 'nádhera', 'krása', 'působivost', 'impozantnost' or 'majestátnost' could be used in some context to describe 'glory'.
