slovak to english 1 line

    dufam ze sa k tomu dostanem poobede

    My attempted translation:

    I hope that you have a good night

    The word 'tomu' gives me trouble. I had seen various conjugations posted here, but I could not find them today.

    Also, what does 'fungovat' mean?

    tomu is form of to (it/this/the)


    fungovat means work/function

    Světla fungují = The lights are working
