Hello, Can someone help me translate the phrase "je jenom jedna"? This is the title of a song. Díky předem.
maybe... "there is only one" of course jedna is feminine so maybe "she's the only one" - again, context (it always gives me fits)
Glenn seems to be reading czech books all day long recenly , I do not remember him speaking much czech last time he was in Prague.
Yes, he did. There is a photo and a link to others towards the end of the link: http://www.myczechrepublic.com/boards/v ... to&start=0 or search for "sooner than I thought" if that doesn't work. It was a great time and I hope to repeat it soon. BTW, Alexx - I still am not too good at Czech, but sometimes things fall into place. I try to read online Czech news (e.g. IDNES) every day. I also have good dictionary access.
Plus its much easier to write Czech on here than speak it on the spot with friends. One can take his/her time and look up things they don't know. 8)
Thanks for the link (Díky za _____). It looks like you all had a great time! Zdá se mi, že všichni jste se měli hezky! (I bet you that sentence is wroong... I haven't learned many Czech idioms)
