I am looking for a Czech translation of the Roman Catholic Mass for Easter Sunday. Does anyone know a web site where I can get the basic translation for Czech/English? I will be in Czech Rep for Easter with a group of students and we are planning to attend Easter Mass. I would like to have a translation so the students can follow along with the service. Any other info/tips on Czech Easter customs would also be appreciated.

Not sure but I think there is no official version of what should be chosen as a text to the mass, it depends on the choice of the priest... You may try here:
http://www.katechismus.cz/ but I think it is only in Czech.

    czech2902,

I have both a Roman Catholic Czech Daily Missal and Sunday Missal. Either is easily purchased in Prague at a Catholic bookstore on Jindrišska Ulice, off of Vaclavské namesti.

If you have a friend in Prague they could buy it and send it to you.

The Daily Missal, Misál na každý den liturgického roku, can be found at:

Or, I could scan the Easter Mass and e-mail it to you.

    Dan,

Thanks for the offer but I need the English along side the Czech as we only know a handful of words in Czech.
