i've just seen the movie "sluneční stát" (with english subtitles ) the story takes place in ostrava and in the middle of the movie i realised that some of the persons are czechs other slovaks (because one, speaking of a third person in the movie, says: "you know, czechs are different than us..."). now i was wondering what language they spoke. everyone his one?
I haven't seen the film yet. But the director is Slovak. There are 4 main male roles and 2 actors are Slovak and the other 2 are Czech. I think that each of them speaks his own langueage. It would be natural. In past quite many Slovaks come to Ostrava to work.
