no, you don't. for more info look few posts lower for info about marrying czech person
If you marry her and settle here you will be entitled to permenant residency if you also meet certain critera, financial and otherwise.
How long will I have to live in the CZ before I will be a CZ citizen, and if we were to live in another country, then how long would it take before I was made a CZ citizen
If you don't live in Czech Republic and weren't born here then I really don't think you've got any chance of becoming a Czech citizen. If you marry a Czech citizen and live here then you have a chance to be given permenant residency, this is as close to citizenship as you'll get, but you can't vote.
Why are you so hung up about becoming a Czech citizen?
cause I want to live in the UK with my CZ spouse - but to do this I would need CZ citizenship. Cause I am South African, from a commonwealth country
But will that mean that I cannot ever be a CZ citizen?
I am English with Czech permenant residency, from my experience you'd have more chance of getting residency &/or citizenship in UK than in Czech. I understand that if you have skills it's not hard to get into the UK now.
I think even if you're a resident in Czech for years, they don't hand out citizenship very easily.
Lets say a foreigner has some (but not all) Czech blood in them- if they marry a Czech citizen would they have an easier time acquiring citizenship?

Unless (at least) one of your parents is Czech citizen, it does not help.
