  2. I love you = Miluju Te (in Czech)
= Lubim ta (I guess that's how you say it in Slovak)

    thanks.
one more thing, im saying this to a friend that lives here in the U.S. do you think it is to strong to say to a friend?

Oh, also how do you say "i'm a parrot" as in the bird.
i know these questions are strange :D

  4. If you want to say this to a friend (not a girlfriend), I wouldn't use the expression "miluju Tě".

Mám Tě rád = "I like you" would be probably closer to what you want to say. Milovat = "to love" is a strong feeling expression.

    Concerning the parrot question... :D

I am a parrot = "Já jsem papoušek"

    Papoušku,

You can also say "Milujem ťa" or "Mám ťa rád" in Slovak as well. Same rule for "milovať" in Slovak as for Czech--don't say it unless you really mean it in a serious (e.g. let's get married) way.
