    Hi all-

I am moving to Prague in September and will only be there for a few months. I hear the biking around Bohemia (and between Prague and Vienna) is fantastic.

I love long rides (I've biked accross Iowa, which is a lot hillier than they'd have you think...) and I figure this would be a great way to see the countryside.

I don't, however, want to do one of those prepackaged ride deals. Too expensive (I'm a poor film student - all my money goes to work pretty much :? ) but I also don't want to die.

Anyone ever taken a long trip solo? I'm looking for good (read, safe and beautiful) routes, horror stories, tales of glory, etc.

Alternatively, I'd be down with a freely organized bike-a-holic trip. I don't know if those exist there - where a bunch of people who love biking bike together because it's great. Anyone???

    thanks
    Cate
