Yeah I know it’s “cheating” but this is what I use to make palacinky.

If you want them thicker just dip in for few seconds if I want them very thin then very quick dip in the batter.
I used to get frustrated trying to get them just like mama used to, but finally gave up and started cheating ….

But doesn't that only brown one side?

Sounds good, I'll try it Saturday and let you all know how it went. I hope my kids don't get drunk! :) Well, then again, maybe I would have a peaceful Saturday morning. Just kidding, I know the alcohol cooks out.

It’s up to you. You can let it cook on just one side or you can peal it off (with your fingers and you wont burn yourself if you are reasonably quick) and put it back on the other side ……,
I guess the reason I prefer this contraption is because I am yet to tear one up, while when I tried to make them in shallow pan half of them would end up in the trash all torn up and ugly.
