Hello! My name is Shae. I am 23 years old and live with my husband Benjamin, and 1 year old son Djai, in Washington USA. Ben is on the speech and debate team at the community college he goes to which is headed for Prague in spring of 2006. I have picked up extra house cleaning and babysitting jobs to pay for my way there. I am SO excited to see another country. I've still not seen all of my own. I have picked up some Czech language tapes at the library and some books. Six months is hardly enough time to learn about another culture and study a foreign language but I certainly need to try. I hear many in Europe speak English but I think it would only be respectful to learn the basics... maybe I will bring along flash cards in case I get into trouble.
