    Here are some words I need help with:

    ear muffs
    mitten
    cardigan
    button hole
    parka
    t-shirt
    sweatshirt

    light switch

    Also, can you tell me the difference between nátělník, tričko, and vesta? I know they mean vest, but I was just wondering if there was a difference or just other ways to say the word.

    Thanks,
    Chris

    mitten=palčák, usually in pl. palčáky
    button hole=knoflíková dírka
    t-shirt=tričko
    sweatshirt=mikina, tričko s dlouhými rukávy
    parka=probably "parka" as well, I heard this word in Czech too
    cardigan=vesta?svetr?
    light switch=vypínač, vypínač světla?

    nátělník, tričko, and vesta are three distinct things, not synonyms:

    tričko=t-shirt
    nátělník=undershirt?
    vesta=usually knitted and woollen, warm, without sleeves

    Hope this helps a little till somebody more competent answers.
