Spa Drinking Cups

The spa drinking cup (lázeňský pohárek) might as well be the symbol of Karlovy Vary. If you visit the city, you will certainly notice them. Content spa guests leisurely stroll down the colonnades and sip the curative Carlsbad spring waters from dainty little cups that are made in a shape specially designed to preserve the temperature and CO2 content. Today, Carlsbad spa cups are made of porcelain, but you may find glass or stoneware cups in one of Karlovy Vary antique shops as well.
