Funicular Railway to Petřín
The funicular to the top of Petřín Hill starts at the Újezd tram stop in Malá Strana and runs daily from 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. (11:20 p.m. from November to March) in 10-15 min. intervals. To take the funicular, buy a special ticket at the funicular station or use a 24-hour or 72-hour public transport ticket if you have one (see Tickets & Passes).
The funicular is out of service due to regular maintenance for about three weeks in the fall, usually in October.
Prague ZOO Chairlift
The chairlift at the Prague ZOO runs from the end of March until January 1. It is closed from January 2 until the end of March. It operates daily from April through October and has a limited schedule in the remaining months. One ride costs 40 CZK. Tickets are sold in ticket machines at both ends of the line.
