Prague’s first shopping centers started opening in the mid-1990s. These were the smaller Vinohradský Pavilon and the malls built inside the passageways on Na Příkopě Street. Larger malls started appearing in the early 2000s. Below are a few Prague shopping malls. Please check their websites for opening times and other information.
PALLADIUM
PALLADIUM is a large mall located in the center of Prague, across the way from the Municipal House (Obecní dům). The five-story building holds 170 shops and 30 restaurants and cafés. It is easy to get to by public transport. You can enter the mall directly from inside the subway station. If you drive, you can use one of about 900 underground parking spaces. Some stores you’ll find at PALLADIUM are Benetton, C&A, ECCO, Esprit, Foot Locker, Guess, H&M, iStyle, L’Occitane, Marks & Spencer, Puma, Sparkys, Villeroy & Boch, and many more.

Nový Smíchov
Nový Smíchov is a shopping mall and entertainment center in the Smíchov district. It spreads across three floors. The mall is located near the Anděl metro station (line B). On the ground floor, you’ll find Marks & Spencer, Tesco, a large Datart electronics store, a shoe store, a pet shop, flower shops, pharmacies, and many other stores. Large clothing brands like Zara, Lindex, C&A, Orsay, Mango or Promod are located on the first floor. The second floor is taken up by a bookstore, a food court and a Palace Cinema multiplex.

Arkády Pankrác
Arkády Pankrác has been around since 2008. It offers a wide selection of clothing stores, shoe stores, and sport clothing shops. A large supermarket, drugstore, bookstore, and a food court make the mall a good stop if you’re in the Pankrác area. You can enter directly from inside the Pankrác metro station.

Palác Flóra
Palác Flóra opened in 2003. It is not a small shopping mall but it doesn’t get overly busy and has an almost intimate atmosphere. Its four floors are filled with 120 shops, a food court, a Cinema City multiplex theatre and IMAX. The environment is bright and airy with an open central lobby. You can walk into the mall from inside the Flóra metro station (line A) or from street level.

Myslbek Shopping Gallery
The Myslbek Shopping Gallery opened in 1996 as one of Prague’s first shopping malls. It connects Prague’s New Town and Old Town, stretching between the busy Na Příkopě Street and the historic Ovocný trh (Fruit Market) behind the Estates Theatre. The site is named after the sculptor who created the St. Wenceslas statue on Wenceslas Square. Myslbek Shopping Gallery houses about 30 shops and boutiques, and a few restaurants.

Černá růže (Black Rose)
The historic Černá růže passageway at Na Příkopě Street was turned into a shopping center in the 1990s. You will find some 50 stores and several restaurants inside.

Slovanský dům (Slavic House)
Slovanský dům is another shopping center located on Na Příkopě. The small area focuses on upscale stores and luxury brands. Some restaurants that deserve a mention are Ambiente Brasileiro and Kogo Slovanský dům. There’s also a large outdoor garden and the Palace Cinemas multiplex theatre.

Vinohradský Pavilon (Vinohrady Market Hall)
The Vinohradský Pavilon was Prague’s first mini-mall. It is located in the historic Vinohrady Market Hall that dates back to 1902. The mall opened in 1994. When large shopping malls started popping up in Prague, the Pavilon became somewhat abandoned. It was restored in 2013 and turned into a three-story mall specializing in interior design. The reconstruction earned the mall a design award.

Metropole Zličín
Metropole Zličín is a large fashion and entertainment complex on the outskirts of Prague. It includes a Cinema City multiplex theatre. The mall is located close to the Zličín metro station, about a 20-minute ride from the center. It is also accessible by car.
