Czech Crystal, Glass, and Porcelain

Stores selling beautiful Czech crystal and glass products are plentiful in Prague, as are those offering Czech porcelain. A unique gift is a handmade replica of historical glassware, such as drinking glasses from the times of Charles IV, Rudolf II, and other centuries.

Preciosa Flagship Store

Preciosa is a world-class manufacturer of glass and crystal. The renowned Czech crystal was born in Mšeno, a small town in the Crystal Valley in the north of Bohemia, over 300 years ago. Today, Preciosa specializes in producing unique crystal chandeliers and jewelry. You’ll find their flagship store in a prominent location near Old Town Square.

Dům porcelánu (The House of Porcelain)

Dům porcelánu in Vinohrady is a large store selling Czech as well as foreign china including the original Czech blue onion porcelain, Thun porcelain from Carlsbad, Bohemian rose china, etc. You’ll find dining sets, tea sets, vases, clocks, and other beautiful pieces of porcelain and china here. The store is located within walking distance from the Náměstí Míru or I. P. Pavlova metro stations.
